The Label manager allows you to group your feed in a way that is meaningful to you. Labels can be implemented for campaign or organisational purposes. It's a way to segment your data using attributes. The labelling functionality is available across the platform and can be applied both at master and partner level. It is particularly useful for partners where labels are paramount, such as Google, where you can segment on a campaign and ad group level.

Accessing the Label Manager
Once you’ve logged into your Intelligent Reach account - in order to access the label manager you’ll need to type: https://app.intelligentreach.com/data/products/master/table into the address bar. This will load the Product Viewer.

At the top right of the Product Viewer, you’ll need to click the Labels tab (top right of page).

Labels on a Master & Partner level
In the Label Manager, you’ll be able to see previously created label groups and which master/partner label field they’ve been applied to.

Within each label group (e.g Performance) there will be a set of relevant labels (e.g high, med and low).

How to create a label
First, you’ll need to create a label group – this is a top-level category you’d like related labels to sit under. To do this click New Group in the blue box on the top left-hand side of the label manager.

Once you’ve created a label group (e.g Stock Level) you’ll need to create your first label to go into this group e.g Low Stock.

After adding your Low Stock label, you’ll need to select which attributes/performance metrics to filter your data by – following the logic of the label name/purpose.

After clicking Add in the blue tab you’ll be able to see how many products this label will apply to.

Simply drag and drop the newly created set to the Apply to Label section and click Save (important).

You can then add another label within this group (e.g. Mid Stock) by clicking the eye icon next to the label groups on the top left-hand side of the page and then clicking + New Label. Then choose between (Static) or (Dynamic).

Follow the same methodology as when creating the first label however when selecting the attributes/metrics to create your set make sure these abide to the logic of the label.

Note: After creating a label, you can either add a comment to provide more context or schedule your label (top right) to apply to feeds within a certain time frame.

Applying master labels to partner feeds

Once you’re satisfied with the labels you’ve created at a master level, select which partner you’d like to apply this to on a partner level (directly below the Label Manager).

Note: A label group needs to be applied to a Master Label field to be applied to a partner’s label field. Remember to click Save after making any change. Also, if a change is made to a label at a master level, this will automatically update the same label at a partner level.

Once you’ve selected your desired partner, simply drag and drop the label group to any of the partner labels (e.g Custom Label 0), which will assign this label group to this label field.

After clicking Save, your labels will be applied to your selected label field when the master/partner feed is next built. It is possible to apply multiple label groups to any field, however, if any of the products are duplicates within different label groups, the last label group applied will take priority and ownership of this product within the label field.
